Today we prayed on the land; it was the high point of my week.
This morning it was somewhat cloudy and breezy when we gathered – almost chilly, which was welcome. Under Ron Stowell’s guidance, we read scripture, shared dreams and, most importantly, we prayed.
After a tumultuous week, it was so incredibly calming to stand on the land and pray. It felt like we were granted a glimpse of the Holy Land after wandering too long in the wilderness.
If you have not gone to the land at the corner of Chipman and View High, I encourage you to do so. In spite of the traffic on View High, there is a serenity on the land that feels sacred. Standing there to pray is truly a spiritual experience; stop sometime soon to experience the sense of promise!
Monday night we will gather in the sanctuary for prayer. If you could not join me today, please come on Monday night!
And Tuesday evening at 7 PM I’m offering a time for Questions and Answers about the future of this great church. Please join me at church!
